Dinner in the night market by Talia

This was our last night in Shilin and we worked our way though the night market and ate dinner there.  This was Tangulu, a fruit with a mixture of sugar and water boiled to three hundred degrees. It was really good having the mixed taste of fresh fruit and a hard sugar coating. This was my favorite of everything that we ate.

We have been hearing this guy for a while because he has a really big flamethrower that he cooks meat with. We decided to try it and it was really good.

Dumplings are always good but these dumplings were the best.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      These smoothies were really good, and having the taste of cold fresh fruit on a super hot day felt really good.

These were meat buns and they were really good. There was a super long line and most of the buns were sold out.

While Peyton, Dad and I got the meat buns, Mom was getting fried sweet potato balls they were pretty good and disappeared quickly thanks to Peyton and Dad.

This last one had taste testers and they were really good, so we got a bag.
